Docol PHS CR2000 Hot-Formed Steel (PHS) Description
Hot-formed steel is a type of steel whose structure and properties change through thermo-mechanical processing (such as rolling, forging, extrusion, etc.) under high temperature. Hot-formed steel is more elastic than cold-formed steel, which means it can deform under larger bending and stretch forming conditions and is less likely to break. Therefore, it is suitable for material applications such as structural parts that need to withstand bending and deformation during use. Hot-formed steel has better toughness, which means it can withstand a larger hit or impact without breaking easily.
